1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, “the Terms”) govern the use of the WordPress plugin Best Google Reviews (hereinafter, “the Plugin” or “the Product”), developed and distributed by Raúl Martínez Rus (hereinafter, “the Owner”), as well as the use of the website https://bgr.raulmar.es.
Installing or using the Plugin implies full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not install or use the Plugin.
2. Product Description
Best Google Reviews is a WordPress plugin that allows a business to connect its Google Business Profile listing and display on its own website the public reviews and the average rating of the business. The Plugin renders content server-side, so that it is indexable by search engines, and emits structured data (schema.org).
3. License
3.1. Free Version
The free version of the Plugin is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later). The user is free to use, modify and redistribute it in accordance with the terms of that license.
3.2. Premium Version
The Premium version is distributed as an add-on subject to a paid license. Its use is conditional upon the purchase of a valid license and its activation. The Premium license enables additional design and customization features.
4. Connection with Google Business Profile
To use the Plugin, the user must authorize the connection with their Google Business Profile listing through Google’s OAuth consent. The user declares:
- To be the owner of, or authorized to manage, the business listing they connect.
- To use the Plugin exclusively to display their own public data.
- To comply with Google’s applicable terms of service and policies, including the Google API Services User Data Policy.
The Owner is not responsible for the user’s use of the data obtained from Google, nor for the user’s compliance with Google’s policies.
5. User Obligations
The user undertakes to:
- Not use the Plugin for unlawful activities or activities contrary to applicable law.
- Not manipulate, falsify or take out of context the reviews displayed.
- Maintain the security of their credentials and their website.
- Not attempt to extract other users’ credentials or tokens from the Plugin.
6. Warranties
The Plugin is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Owner shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Plugin, including, but not limited to, loss of data, service interruption, or changes to the policies or availability of the Google API.
8. Intellectual Property
The Plugin’s code is distributed under the license indicated in section 3. Google’s logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are displayed in accordance with Google’s brand use guidelines. The “Best Google Reviews” brand belongs to the Owner.
9. Modifications
The Owner reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on this Site. Continued use of the Plugin after the publication of changes implies their acceptance.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Jaén, Spain, unless the applicable law imperatively provides otherwise.
